Enrollment Spring 2026Awakening The Subtle Body
To cultivate deep meditation, the subtle body must be systematically brought online. We move now from the foundational technique of how to meditate to the technology of Prana and movement of the life force in the channels of the inner form.
Discovering Prana
Directly experience the life force itself. This is the first step in moving from mental effort to energetic flow and sets up all the rest of the curriculum to be so much more accessible. Working with prana is a key component of the ultimate skill of samyama.
About • Enroll NowMastering The Madhya
Working with the still point in the middle to learn how and where to tap into emptiness directly - the hidden skill in the toolbelt of an advanced meditator.
Enrollment Spring 2026Opening The Right Hemisphere
Dhyana is only a concept until the right hemisphere of the brain is consciously brought into the equation.
Enrollment Summer 2026The Ida And The Pingala
The ida and pingala are two of the most significant circuits of energy in the subtle body (the nadis), and with training they are also fairly easy to access. In this course you’ll begin developing the ability to move energy in the ida and pingala at will.
Enrollment Fall 2026The Sushumna
The sushumna is the central ‘nerve’ of the subtle energy body. The length of the sushumna is actually the spiritual path itself, because this is where all the heavy-lifting work of spiritual unfoldment begins and ends. Your work with the sushumna will go on throughout every phase of your spiritual endeavors; this is the launching point.
Enrollment Fall 2026The Bodhicitta
We work not only with the powerful concept of the awakened Heart-Mind, but also with its manifestation in the subtle body as the white and red thigle bindus.
Enrollment Winter 2026Inner Guru Yoga
Whether or not you have someone you look to as an outer guru, it is always the inner guru that does the real work of awakening. Guru yoga practices are a way of attuning to that inner presence — a means of accelerating spiritual growth in profoundly transformative & mysterious ways.
Enrollment Winter 2026The Map Of The Gateways
This series introduces the specific energetic points where Samyama is applied to guide you into pure consciousness. These are the ancient, systematic steps that lead from a still mind to a stopped mind—beyond the self and into the direct silence of Samadhi.
The Five Components of Samyama
‘Samyama’ is the supreme meditation method described by the great sage Patanjali, yet its true practice has been largely misunderstood by modern teachers and students alike. My teacher Mark perceived the five components of mastery required to practice Samyama as it was originally intended — a precise method for transcending even the subtlest movements of mind.
Coming 2027Samyama on the Kanda
Turning off the senses is not a matter of will. It is a matter of skill. In this in-depth training, awareness is guided to the kanda — the subtle source from which the senses and energy channels arise, allowing perception to fold inward.
Coming 2027Samyama on the Seat of the Ego
The ego is not a mystery but a mechanism — a subtle machine that can be switched off, just as the senses can be. Through Samyama, awareness is drawn to the energetic center where the sense of 'I' arises. When this function is seen clearly and allowed to release, the boundary between self and silence dissolves.
Coming 2027Samyama on the Seat of Thought-Addiction
There is something within us that seems bound to the very act of thinking — almost as if the mind were addicted to itself. Using Samyama, we learn to locate and access a subtle switch within the energy body — a point of awareness that can quiet the compulsion to think and release the hold of mental habit.
Coming 2027Samyama on the Manas
Manas means mind. Though the mind itself is vast and formless, it does have a seat within the subtle body. Samyama is applied directly to that locus — the energetic wellspring from which thoughts and movements of awareness arise. As attention steadies here, the churning waters of the mind grow still, revealing the silent depths beneath all thought.
Coming 2027Samyama on the Unmanas
Unmanas means 'no-mind'. To touch this point within the subtle body, even for a moment, is to dive into an ocean of peace beyond all intellectual understanding. The Unmanas is the threshold to the higher mind — a gateway where thought dissolves into pure awareness, radiant with the unmistakable energy of consciousness itself.
Coming 2027Samyama on the Cave of God & the Mahachakra
Hidden within the subtle architecture of the brain lies what the sages called the Cave of God — the inner sanctum where the individual consciousness meets the Divine. Samyama within this center and the higher centers of the head — the Mahachakra and the internal Shivalinga, are gateways through which awareness expands beyond individuality into pure light.
Coming 2027Samyama on Samadhi
Samadhi is the intuitive knowledge of the highest truth. It is both the goal toward which all spiritual practice leads, and the doorway through which the real spiritual practice truly begins. Samyama is applied to the subtle seats of Savikalpa Samadhi and Nirvikalpa Samadhi — the thresholds between consciousness and the Absolute.
