STOP THE MIND!

TRUE MEDITATION is not about relaxing.

It is not about becoming free from stress.

It is not about experiencing brief moments of transcendence.

It is not about quieting a restless mind.

It is about stopping the mind.

Something happens when the mind truly stops and can be held in that stopped condition for some time.

Something can be seen by the silent mind that simply cannot be seen and realized by a quiet mind. They are vastly different states of awareness.

What is it that becomes revealed?

It is only when the mind is fully and truly stopped in meditation that the Self can be glimpsed, the ground of Being can be seen, the field of the Unmanfest Absolute can be realized, the Atman or the Supracausal fourth body can be apprehended, or the indwelling presence of God can be touched.

The sage Patanjali opens his Yoga Sutras with the instruction:

Yoga is the cessation of thought-waves in the mind.

and then he tells us why this is so important to do:

Then one abides in their own real nature.

Something happens when we truly stop the mind for extended periods of time. It is akin to a phase transition, like when liquid water is gradually chilled, then suddenly freezes into ice.

As the mind is taught how to stop, it can shift into a new expanded state. This feels totally unlike anything you’ve felt before. It is open, vast and blissful. It is the “peace which passeth all understanding”.

But I’ll never be able to do this!

No one can achieve this goal without precise training and practice.

If you’ve been meditating for some time and still haven’t achieved true cessation of the mind, it’s not you

It’s the methodology you’ve been using.

The program I offer is a staged sequence of trainings with this goal in mind: not just quiet but true silence.

Each module is its own mini-course – work through it at your own pace and progressively build up your skillset. I’ll be there by your side.

Nothing is more important than making the mind your friend.

Don’t settle for “quiet” any longer.
